Lifehack Workshop
Empathy | Ideate
Stream C & D got together to partake in a series of exercises to further express our wellbeing knowledge. Beginning in groups we introduced ourselves and shared an interesting moment from the day, or anything else on our mind. I noticed that when asked to talk about whatever we wanted we were quiet, when we were asked to share an interesting moment we couldn't think of any, when we were given an exercise to try and converse more only then did things begin to flow. I'm not sure if this relates to wellbeing but it would be something interesting to look into - how to express ourselves more.
We then did an exercise about how, on a scale of 1 - 10; did we feel we know what wellbeing is, did we feel about our wellbeing, and if we had an idea about what topic we would choose. I chose around a 6, a 7, and a 4 for these. The second question provoked the most interest for me, I noticed that when talking about our own wellbeing not a lot of the class thought that they were that good. I personally with approximately 6 other classmates were above a 5-6, I have ups and downs but I see that as life, if I have a problem I may have a little cry about it but I can pick myself up pretty well and get on with it.
After getting into pairs we began the exercise photographed below. For our partner we had to discover their skills and limitations and discover their superhero side equip with superpowers and superhero tools. My partner and I struggled to come up with good skills, however when asked if we were good at ___ we'd say something like yeah I guess.
It's harder to express personal views and thoughts than it is for others to view you.
