Class 4.1

6th August 2015
Feedback the first proper layout thing
Ideate | Prototype | Test

Unfortunately at our last meeting collecting all the photographic images for the document we decided at the time to come back to the Issue page image at the end and then we ended up forgetting to actually go back to it so that page wasn't what we wanted at all.

We still got a decent amount of feedback (some about the unfinished Issue page which we were obviously aware about) and although some points we knew straight after printing it, some were useful. The 'negative' comments were pretty easy to solve, the aforementioned Issue page, a few of our titles were missing, and our information needed improving. Sometimes I feel the feedback that's given is sort of cushioned and they point out stuff that's obvious that we obviously most likely know instead of pointing out more deeper problems that may 'hurt our feelings'.

From this we started rethinking how we were creating our booklet and thought about involving the office imagery more than just the actual full bleed images. Scanning and photocopying we managed to come out with an image we were liking much better. We also thought of presenting the book in a clearfile which would link again to the office theme.
